Enrollment Suspension Lifted!

Job Corps is happy to announce the lifting of the student enrollment suspension that began in January 2013. The suspension was a cost-saving measure implemented by the Department of Labor as a necessary step to ensure that Job Corps operates within its budget this year and in the future.

For students and potential students, this means we are now accepting applications for those interested in enrolling in Job Corps. If you were previously enrolled in Job Corps and left to receive medical treatment or were on standby to enter an Advanced Training program, you will receive first priority upon return. If you applied for Job Corps before the suspension, we have your application. We're reviewing it once more and will be in contact soon. Those applications will be processed first.

Is Hawaii Job Corps Right for Me? How Do I Get into the Program?

If you live on Oahu, or have an opportunity to visit the island, we invite you to take a tour of the Hawaii Job Corps campus. Center tours are scheduled every other Thursday at 9am. Our satellite center, Maui Job Corps, also offers tours of that campus. Please contact the Hawaii Job Corps admissions office at (808) 259-3220 to make a reservation to take a center tour at either campus.

Visiting Hawaii Job Corps Center is the perfect opportunity to see the campus and learn about Job Corps' many services and opportunities first hand. You will meet program instructors, students and supporting staff, and get a feeling for Hawaii Job Corps' diverse community. Eligible students with a genuine desire to learn career skills, get a job and improve their lives will be able to schedule an interview with one of our admission counselors, who will help guide them through the admissions process.

How Do I Get Started?

The first step to enter the Job Corps program is to contact the Hawaii Job Corps admissions office at (808) 259-3220. We will answer any questions you may have and, if possible, schedule you for a center tour.
